Welcome to the Anita A. Murray Agency! I hope that you 're having a wonderful March. Originally from Cassopolis, MI, I relocated to the metro Detroit area to attend The University of Michigan—Dearborn on a basketball scholarship. After graduation, my entrepreneurial drive led to me opening an Avis rental car agency in Troy, MI. Leveraging the experience of running a business and my passion for serving others, I subsequently opened a State Farm Agency. For over 20 years, I've had the honor of being a pillar in the Westland community protecting customers from life’s uncertainties.

Our mission in the agency is to help protect and manage the life that YOU desire for generations to come. My dedicated team and I thrive on making insurance easy to understand by educating consumers and helping them make informed decisions to protect their most valuable assets. We provide life, pet, homeowners, condo-unit owners, renters, small business, boat, motorcycle, recreational vehicles, and auto insurance. There is nothing more rewarding than making sure that you have the protection that you need, when you need it.

In my spare time, you can find me spending time with family, cooking, cruising in my classic car - a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, listening to music, enjoying a concert or a sporting event. I serve as a Board Member for the City of Westland Downtown Development Authority and member of the City of Westland Rezoning Steering Committee, charged with helping to further economic growth within the City of Westland. I also enjoy attending and sponsoring local events in the community such as the Westland Blues, Brews, and Barbecue, All American Craft Festival, Smooth Summer Nights and Hot Country Nights.
